Me (Oct 2016)

About me

My name is Fabian Gruber and I am a PhD student at Inria & the Université Grenoble Alpes (France).

My work is mostly in performance analysis, machine code, & compiler backends, that is ...
  • automating software performance analysis, performance bug diagnosis, & proposing source code transformations
  • disassembling optimized binaries & re-constructing higher-level information.
  • analysing performance of modern x86 & and ARM CPUs.

When I'm not working I like

  • to go hiking,
  • cook,
  • play video games & learn how to make them
  • learn new languages (both those for humans & those for machines)
